After being mobile all day, I was sitting on my sofa doing paperwork for about an hour. When I attempted to stand up, I could not get up or move without experiencing excruciating pain in my right posterior rib area and lower near my right hip. I kept trying to get up, and finally realized I could not. I pressed the button around my neck. I was a few feet from the Life Alert console and could hear the Life Alert operator clearly. She responded very quickly and called the ambulance and I was taken to Mayo Hospital ER.
If I had had to call the ambulance myself, it would’ve been very difficult (because of my pain and my being upset) to give them all the info that Life Alert has on file. In fact, I would have given them the wrong code for my lock box. I thank all the people who attended to my dire need that evening.

I have low blood pressure. Went to the bathroom at 6:15 am and fainted there. When I came to, I pushed my button. Life Alert sent paramedics, who took me to the hospital.

I was home alone 10 days after gastric bypass surgery when I took an antibiotic, which aggravated my stomach. I got very sick and scared and panicky. I couldn’t use the phone, but thanks to my Life Alert system, fire rescuers showed up in a couple of minutes.

As I got to the top of the stairs, I had a weak spell and fell, then I couldn’t get up. As I always feel safe with my Life Alert pendant, I used it. The men who came brought a ladder and came in through the bedroom window to help me. I love the secure feeling Life Alert gives me. I am never alone. Thank you.

After a hearty sneeze while putting a necklace on over my head, I lost my balance and fell. I activated my Life Alert and had immediate response. They stayed on until the ambulance came around. I was taken to the medical center with a dislocated hip. A corrective procedure was done and I returned home. Life Alert really works.

I have fallen down many times and then couldn’t get up. Each time, I pushed the button for Life Alert and I got help. I would have to be in a nursing home if I didn’t have Life Alert.

I would like everyone to have Life Alert.

My mother needed help. Life Alert answered right away, stayed on the line until the help got here, and asked if anyone needed to be called. I’m really glad she has the Life Alert.

My legs gave out as my husband was assisting me to get up from the commode in our bedroom. He contacted Life Alert and the paramedics arrived 5 to 10 minutes later. We are both Life Alert members, and we couldn’t have been more satisfied.
